Engagements for 2008

2008 has turned out to be a little different from usual as we're doing a couple of concerts in the summer. They're all listed below, so see you there.

Saturday June 7th, Concert at St. James Church, East Barnet - 7.30

This year, we're doing a summer concert for the Alzheimers Society

Saturday 5th July, East Barnet Festival, Oak Hill Park - 2.00

This is the time when Barnet residents may enjoy all the fun of the fair, along with entertainment from a variety of music groups and dancers, with lots of variety to suit all tastes. Barnet Band is there to provide the traditional mix of music which goes with an English community festival - along with a taste of more-modern pieces and arrangements.

Sunday 6th July, Finchley Nurseries - 2.00 to 4.00

This is our first visit of the season and it is at that time of the year when everything is in bloom at this delightful nursery. Our audience can relax, soak in the ambience and enjoy a cream tea to pass the afternoon away. For further details of this engagement, CLICK HERE

Sunday 19th July, All Saints Arts Centre, Oakleigh Rd North - 7.30

This is a new venture for us and will take much the same form as our concert on June 7th and will offer a unique opportunity for those who missed the first run of film music to get to hear it. It will also offer the chance for those who did come and simply must get more to have a second bite of the cherry!

Sunday 7th September, Finchley Nurseries - 2.00 to 4.00

On our return visit to this nurseries, generally the last outdoor gig of the year, we sit amongst the dahlias as the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness creeps into the callendar. Yet more cream teas greet our audience with many returning faces to tell us that our previous vist here must have pleased someone. It's a comfortable place to play, tinged with the feelings that come at the end of a season.
